Welcome!

This blog is a repository for unofficial translations of the Youth Climate Compact, which will be finalized during the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, from August 26-28, 2019.  Here is the official text of the current draft of this document.  Comments are currently being accepted, via the link at the bottom of that page.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!!

The committee that is preparing this document has agreed to accept comments in any language, but they need volunteers to translate the comments they get in languages they don't speak themselves.  They will use Google Translate to read any comments they can't understand, unless they have a volunteer to translate them.

Here is how you can help:
  • Make a translation into your language, and E-mail it to frenezulo at Yahoo dot com.  It will be posted here as a separate blog entry.
  • Volunteer to translate any comments the committee receives in your language.  Send an E-mail to the same address, saying you're willing to do that.
  •  Let other people who speak your language know where they can find the translation, and that it's OK for them to comment in their language.
Please note that these are NOT official translations; the only official version, at the moment, is the one in English linked above.

Many thanks for your attention and help!
